On a September night in Bern in 2021, Ngamaleu levelled against Manchester United in the 66th minute, and Young Boys went on to win 2-1 in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Four Swiss titles in a row came with that team between 2018 and 2021, plus the 2020 Swiss Cup, and he was in the Cameroon side that finished third at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil.
