On 7 September 2022 at the Maradona, he ran through Liverpool's midfield all night and took Zielinski's pass past Alisson at the near post for the second goal in a 4-1 win. Anguissa has two Serie A titles with Napoli, in 2023 and 2025, the first ending a 33-year wait, and he played six of Cameroon's seven matches on the way to third place at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
