The 1999 Trinidad and Tobago Pro League season brought him 45 goals and the Golden Boot, and the Caribbean named him its Footballer of the Year. Trinidad and Tobago Footballer of the Year in 1998, 1999 and 2001, a place in the 2000 Gold Cup All-Star team, 28 goals in 73 caps, the 2006 Pro League title with Joe Public, and two Caribbean club championships. Twenty-four goals in League One in 2007-08 made him the division's top scorer and carried Swansea up as champions, one half of a two-season stay that brought 45 goals in 90 appearances. Two PFA Team of the Year selections followed, for 2007-08 and 2008-09, after a Scottish First Division golden boot with St Johnstone in 2005-06, and for Trinidad and Tobago he took 41 caps, eight goals and a place in the 2006 World Cup squad.
