Twenty-four goals in League One in 2007-08 made him the division's top scorer and carried Swansea up as champions, one half of a two-season stay that brought 45 goals in 90 appearances. Two PFA Team of the Year selections followed, for 2007-08 and 2008-09, after a Scottish First Division golden boot with St Johnstone in 2005-06, and for Trinidad and Tobago he took 41 caps, eight goals and a place in the 2006 World Cup squad.
