Trinidad and Tobago Footballer of the Year in 1998, 1999 and 2001, a place in the 2000 Gold Cup All-Star team, 28 goals in 73 caps, the 2006 Pro League title with Joe Public, and two Caribbean club championships. Columbus Crew gave him his first MLS season in 1998 and he answered with 26 goals in 27 games, three hat-tricks among them, the first player in the league to manage that in one year, and he took the Golden Boot. Seventy goals in 115 caps stand as the Trinidad and Tobago record, alongside Caribbean Cup wins in 1996, 1999 and 2001, all three games at the 2006 World Cup, and a Championship title with Sunderland.
