Six goals in the 1999 Copa Libertadores made him the tournament's joint leading scorer alongside Rubén Sosa and Fernando Baiano, an Estudiantes de Mérida forward level with the continent's best. Sixteen goals in 62 caps leave him fourth on Venezuela's all-time list, one of them against Bolivia at the 2004 Copa América, and he won the Colombian Finalización with Cúcuta in 2006 and the Venezuelan title with Táchira in 2008. Career record: 65 caps and 14 goals for Venezuela; club career at Córdoba CF, Atlético Bucaramanga, Cúcuta Deportivo.
