
His first goal for Uzbekistan arrived on 11 October 2016 in a World Cup qualifier against China, and he has since reached 87 caps while spending nearly every club season after 2017 abroad, in the Emirates, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. He was part of the squad that won the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup and reached Uzbekistan's first World Cup, and he had already taken AFC U-23 gold in 2018 and the U-16 title back in 2012.
