Born in Qashqadaryo in 1985, Naumov did his steadiest work at the province's clubs, 30 league games for Mash'al Mubarek in 2008 and then four seasons on Nasaf Qarshi's books from 2009. His record is a decade in the Uzbek top flight between 2004 and 2015, at Surkhon Termez, Tupalang Sariosiyo, Mash'al Mubarek, Nasaf Qarshi, Shurtan Guzar and Sogdiana Jizzakh, with no senior cap and no major honour recorded.
