In 2018 he scored 31 goals in the MLS regular season and broke the league record of 27 in only his 26th match. He took the Golden Boot, the league MVP award and the MLS Cup final MVP as Atlanta United won the title in only their second season, added the 2023 Leagues Cup with Inter Miami, and scored 15 goals in 70 caps for Venezuela.
