Palestine were already 8-0 up on Bhutan in Dura on 10 October 2017 when Cantillana added the ninth and the tenth in a qualifier for the 2019 Asian Cup. He won the 2018 Bangabandhu Cup in Bangladesh, scoring against Tajikistan in Sylhet along the way, played at the 2019 Asian Cup, and left the national team with ten goals in 36 caps.
