Palestine put eleven past Guam at the 2006 AFC Challenge Cup in April, and six of them came from Attal, who left Bangladesh that month with eight goals and the tournament's golden boot. Twelve of his international goals arrived in that single year, enough for IFFHS to rank him the world's eighth highest scorer of 2006; he ended with 14 in 39 caps and Palestine's scoring record, held until 2024. Seventy-nine caps and one goal is the ledger of a full back who was there to defend, and on 23 January 2024 he wore the armband in Doha as Palestine beat Hong Kong 3-0 for their first Asian Cup victory and their first place in the knockout rounds. Three Asian Cups in 2015, 2019 and 2023, plus league football in Egypt with Ceramica Cleopatra and Qatar with Al-Wakrah and Qatar SC. Career record: club career at Shabab Al-Dhahiriya SC.
