Palestine were already 8-0 up on Bhutan in Dura on 10 October 2017 when Cantillana added the ninth and the tenth in a qualifier for the 2019 Asian Cup. He won the 2018 Bangabandhu Cup in Bangladesh, scoring against Tajikistan in Sylhet along the way, played at the 2019 Asian Cup, and left the national team with ten goals in 36 caps. His 17 goals make him Palestine's leading scorer, and he has won the Scottish Cup with Aberdeen in 2025, the Egyptian league with Zamalek in 2026, and the Kuwaiti title with Al-Arabi in 2021 as the division's top scorer.
