The free kick that carried Palestine to their first Asian Cup came in the 59th minute in Malé on 30 May 2014, and it was the only goal of the Challenge Cup final against the Philippines. His 17 goals make him Palestine's leading scorer, and he has won the Scottish Cup with Aberdeen in 2025, the Egyptian league with Zamalek in 2026, and the Kuwaiti title with Al-Arabi in 2021 as the division's top scorer.
