The free kick that carried Palestine to their first Asian Cup came in the 59th minute in Malé on 30 May 2014, and it was the only goal of the Challenge Cup final against the Philippines. Champion of that 2014 AFC Challenge Cup and its top scorer with four goals, a place at the 2015 Asian Cup in Australia that followed from it, and 14 goals in 56 caps for Palestine. At Education City Stadium on 4 December 2021, Rashid put Palestine in front of Saudi Arabia at the Arab Cup, and Palestine came away with a 1-1 draw. He won the Indian Super League with East Bengal in 2025-26 and the West Bank Premier League with Jabal Al-Mukaber in 2023, played the 2019 and 2023 Asian Cups among 53 caps, and was voted Indonesian fans' favourite footballer in 2021-22.
