At Education City Stadium on 4 December 2021, Rashid put Palestine in front of Saudi Arabia at the Arab Cup, and Palestine came away with a 1-1 draw. He won the Indian Super League with East Bengal in 2025-26 and the West Bank Premier League with Jabal Al-Mukaber in 2023, played the 2019 and 2023 Asian Cups among 53 caps, and was voted Indonesian fans' favourite footballer in 2021-22. He captained Palestine and kept the clean sheet in Malé on 30 May 2014, when Ashraf Nu'man's goal beat the Philippines and carried the country to its first Asian Cup finals. That AFC Challenge Cup is the only senior trophy Palestine have won, and he added the Egyptian league with Al Ahly in 2009 and the Sudan Cup with Al-Merrikh in 2011, keeping goal 68 times for his country.
