Extra time in the 1998 League Cup final at Wembley, and the goal that broke Middlesbrough came from Sinclair, a defender who made 218 appearances for Chelsea. He won the Cup Winners' Cup weeks later, added the 1997 FA Cup and a second League Cup with Leicester in 2000, and started all three of Jamaica's group games at France 98 among his 28 caps.

Lyon, 26 June 1998: Tappa Whitmore scored in the 39th minute and again in the 54th, and Jamaica beat Japan 2-1 for the only World Cup win in their history. Two Caribbean Cups, in 1998 and 2005, and Caribbean Footballer of the Year in 1998; 120 caps and 23 goals between 1993 and 2004, then 77 games for Hull City. Career record: 105 caps and 24 goals for Jamaica; club career at Montego Bay United, Hull City A.F.C., Tranmere Rovers.
