Extra time in the 1998 League Cup final at Wembley, and the goal that broke Middlesbrough came from Sinclair, a defender who made 218 appearances for Chelsea. He won the Cup Winners' Cup weeks later, added the 1997 FA Cup and a second League Cup with Leicester in 2000, and started all three of Jamaica's group games at France 98 among his 28 caps.

Four goals arrived on his Jamaica debut in 2004, a start no other Jamaican has managed, and he was still in the side nine years later.
