He was the first Jamaican to win the Gold Cup Golden Glove, in 2017, the year Jamaica reached their second straight final, and he has three MLS Goalkeeper of the Year awards from 2016, 2020 and 2022, Supporters' Shields in 2020 and 2025, the 2014 Caribbean Cup and 94 caps. Extra time in the 1998 League Cup final at Wembley, and the goal that broke Middlesbrough came from Sinclair, a defender who made 218 appearances for Chelsea. He won the Cup Winners' Cup weeks later, added the 1997 FA Cup and a second League Cup with Leicester in 2000, and started all three of Jamaica's group games at France 98 among his 28 caps.
