Sixty-eight seconds into Canada's game against Croatia on 27 November 2022, he rose to Tajon Buchanan's cross and headed in the first goal his country had ever scored at a men's World Cup. With Bayern he has won the 2020 Champions League and the Club World Cup and Super Cup that followed it, seven Bundesliga titles and three DFB-Pokals; at sixteen he had already taken the Golden Boot at the 2017 Gold Cup.
