His goal against Croatia in Lens on 14 June 1998 arrived in the 45th minute and was the first Jamaica ever scored at a World Cup, one of only eight caps he won. Before that came 294 league games and 77 goals for Port Vale, including both in the 1989 Third Division play-off final, then 284 games and 59 goals for Wimbledon, whom he captained from 1995. Career record: 33 caps and 8 goals for Jamaica; club career at Stoke City, Port Vale, Wimbledon; honours include Hall of Fame.

Two Caribbean Cups, in 1998 and 2005, and Caribbean Footballer of the Year in 1998; 120 caps and 23 goals between 1993 and 2004, then 77 games for Hull City.
