Beating three West Ham defenders before rolling the ball past Rob Green in 2009-10 won him Stoke's goal of the season for a third year running. He scored Stoke's first Premier League goal, a consolation in a 3-1 defeat at Bolton on the opening day of 2008-09, made the PFA Championship Team of the Year in 2007-08 as Stoke went up, and won more than 70 caps for Jamaica between 1999 and 2012. Career record: 73 caps and 9 goals for Jamaica; club career at Preston North End, Stoke City, Millwall.

His goal against Croatia in Lens on 14 June 1998 arrived in the 45th minute and was the first Jamaica ever scored at a World Cup, one of only eight caps he won. Before that came 294 league games and 77 goals for Port Vale, including both in the 1989 Third Division play-off final, then 284 games and 59 goals for Wimbledon, whom he captained from 1995. Career record: 33 caps and 8 goals for Jamaica; club career at Stoke City, Port Vale, Wimbledon; honours include Hall of Fame.
