Ninety four league goals in 254 matches for Cagliari between 1999 and 2007 earned him the name Sardinia used, Pantera Nera, and 14 of those came in Serie A in his last season on the island. Inter took him to Milan for the 2007-08 Serie A title, and for Honduras he scored 17 goals in 57 caps and played at the 2010 World Cup, the country's first in 28 years.
