Guinea were losing to Nigeria on 8 October 2011 when Traoré struck in the twelfth minute of stoppage time, and the 2-2 draw that followed carried them to the next year's Africa Cup of Nations. He scored 8 goals for Guinea and played three Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, in 2012, 2015 and 2019, after a German career that ran from a Hertha debut in December 2007 through Augsburg and Stuttgart to seven seasons at Borussia Mönchengladbach. Born Naby Laye Moussa Camara and known to everyone as Papa, he was a dribbler who gave his whole career to Hafia and left the Conakry club with 532 appearances and 142 goals. He reached five African Cup of Champions Clubs finals and won three of them, in 1972, 1975 and 1977, and finished runner-up with Guinea at the 1976 Africa Cup of Nations, still the country's best showing. Career record: 42 caps and 6 goals for Guinea; club career at Hafia Football Club.
