In the Santiago shootout that settled the 2015 Copa América, he took Chile's second penalty and beat Sergio Romero, who got a hand to the ball and could not keep it out. That was the first of back-to-back Copa América titles in 2015 and 2016, and his club record runs to four Serie A titles at Juventus, three Bundesligas at Bayern, La Liga with Barcelona, another Scudetto at Inter and the 2022 Copa Libertadores with Flamengo. Before the squad flew to West Germany in 1974, Pinochet came down the line at the send-off and Caszely kept his hand behind his back, one of the first public refusals the dictator faced. He was top scorer of the 1973 Copa Libertadores as Colo-Colo reached their first final, won five Chilean league titles and three domestic cups, and at that World Cup became the first player shown a red card in the tournament's history. Career record: 49 caps and 29 goals for Chile; club career at Club Social y Deportivo Colo Colo, Levante UD, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona.
