With the 2015 Copa América final still goalless after Higuaín and Banega had missed in the shootout, he walked up in Santiago and chipped his penalty straight down the middle to give Chile their first major trophy. A second Copa América came in 2016 with the tournament's Golden Ball, and he leads Chile on 51 goals in a record 168 caps, having won La Liga with Barcelona, two FA Cups with Arsenal and two Serie A titles with Inter. Before the squad flew to West Germany in 1974, Pinochet came down the line at the send-off and Caszely kept his hand behind his back, one of the first public refusals the dictator faced. He was top scorer of the 1973 Copa Libertadores as Colo-Colo reached their first final, won five Chilean league titles and three domestic cups, and at that World Cup became the first player shown a red card in the tournament's history. Career record: 49 caps and 29 goals for Chile; club career at Club Social y Deportivo Colo Colo, Levante UD, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona.
