Tsiki-Tsiki was the name that stuck, and he never wore another club's shirt, close to 350 appearances for Kaizer Chiefs across fifteen seasons from his debut in 1994 under Philippe Troussier. He was in midfield when Chiefs beat Inter Luanda for the 2001 African Cup Winners' Cup, the centrepiece of a treble, and he added league titles, domestic cups and the club's Chairman's Award in 2008, with three South Africa caps and a goal against Namibia.
