Stiga was what the terraces called him, and in 2003 he scored in the final of the Coca-Cola Cup for Kaizer Chiefs, then the richest cup competition in Africa. That trophy went to Chiefs, and he added 24 South Africa caps with two goals, a place in the squad at the 2000 Olympics and the 2004 Nations Cup, 18 goals in 115 games for Wits University and 25 in 77 for Pierikos in Greece.
