Athens, August 2004: he was in the Paraguay team that lost the Olympic final to Argentina and took silver, still the only Olympic medal Paraguay has won in any sport. That silver heads a list that runs through the 2011 Copa América final, lost 3-0 to Uruguay, the Argentine Clausura with San Lorenzo in 2007, the Uruguayan championship with Peñarol in 2012-13, and the Emperor's Cup with Kyoto Purple Sanga in 2002.
