Honduras had waited 28 years for another World Cup when South Africa 2010 came, and he stood in the middle of the defence for all three group matches. He took the Ekstraklasa with Wisła Kraków in his first Polish season, 2010-11, won the 2007 Copa Interclubes UNCAF, claimed bronze at the 2009 Copa Centroamericana, and returned to the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 among 55 caps.
