Celtic paid £650,000 for him in August 2010, and by the end of that season his fellow professionals had voted him PFA Scotland Players' Player of the Year, the first Honduran to win it. Seven Scottish league titles followed between 2011-12 and 2018-19, along with three Scottish Cups, two League Cups, and 111 caps for Honduras taking in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
