Sow was 18 when Saint-Étienne handed him a Ligue 1 debut against Lens on 3 October 2020, and a week later he set up Yady Bangoura's winner on his Guinea debut against Cape Verde. Club silverware has stayed out of reach so far, and the record reads 56 games for Saint-Étienne, a 2023 move to Strasbourg, and 28 caps covering the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
