On 4 June 2005 Kalou won the Coupe de France for Auxerre with a goal in the ninetieth minute, and eleven months later he opened the scoring at the same stadium for Paris Saint-Germain against Marseille in the next final. His honours include the 2002 UEFA Cup and the 1999 Eredivisie title at Feyenoord, two Coupes de France, and 12 goals in 51 caps for Côte d'Ivoire, including the winning penalty against Serbia and Montenegro in 2006.
