Serbia and Montenegro were two goals ahead on 21 June 2006 when Dindane struck from the penalty spot before half time and again after the break, turning the match into Côte d'Ivoire's first World Cup win. The Belgian Golden Shoe and Ebony Shoe both went to him in 2003, he won league titles with Anderlecht in 2001 and 2004, scored 18 goals in 64 caps, and finished runner-up at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations.
