Roberto Rojas

Chile were losing 1-0 at the Maracanã on 3 September 1989 when a flare fell near Rojas's goal and he went down holding his face, and FIFA later found the wound came from a razor blade in his glove. Before that night he had won the Chilean league in 1983 and 1986 with Colo-Colo, two Campeonato Paulista titles at São Paulo, and a place in the 1987 Copa América team of the tournament as Chile reached the final.
