Melbourne, 16 January 2015: on a night Jordan won 5-1, Ihbeisheh scored the first goal Palestine had ever managed at an Asian Cup. That remains a national first; he was in the Palestine squads at the 2015 and 2019 Asian Cups, took 17 caps and three goals, and played 347 club games through Slovenia's top flight plus spells in Qatar, Thailand and Austria.

He captained Palestine and kept the clean sheet in Malé on 30 May 2014, when Ashraf Nu'man's goal beat the Philippines and carried the country to its first Asian Cup finals. That AFC Challenge Cup is the only senior trophy Palestine have won, and he added the Egyptian league with Al Ahly in 2009 and the Sudan Cup with Al-Merrikh in 2011, keeping goal 68 times for his country.
