Six minutes into the second leg at the Bernabéu on 5 March 2019, Ziyech swept Ajax ahead of the holders, and by full time Real Madrid had lost 4-1 at home and their three-year hold on Europe was over. He won the Champions League and Club World Cup with Chelsea in 2021, the Eredivisie and Dutch Cup double with Ajax in 2019, back-to-back Süper Lig titles with Galatasaray, and led the Eredivisie for assists four times. He won La Liga with Atlético in 1950 and 1951, scoring 58 goals in 114 matches there, won 17 caps for France, and received the FIFA Order of Merit in 1998, six years after his death.
