Fourteen seasons at Al Ahli in Dubai brought him 245 appearances and three goals, a run that outlasted the 2017 merger which turned the club into Shabab Al Ahli. Three UAE league titles came his way, in 2013-14, 2015-16 and 2022-23, with two President's Cups, and he was part of the squad that finished third at the 2015 Asian Cup after taking Asian Games silver in Guangzhou in 2010.
