He scored twice, in the 49th and 68th minutes, as Trinidad and Tobago put eleven past Antigua and Barbuda on 10 November 1972, a night when Steve David and Sammy Llewellyn both helped themselves to hat-tricks. Part of the squad for the 1974 World Cup qualifying campaign that turned on a night in Port-au-Prince, where four goals were ruled out against Haiti and the referee was later banned for life, still picked nine years on for the 1981 CONCACAF qualifiers.
