Zürich in 1992, Beirut in 1995: Nakhid built a career in places Caribbean footballers simply did not go, 41 league games for Grasshopper and two spells with Al-Ansar. He won the Swiss Cup in 1994 and two Lebanese titles during Al-Ansar's world-record run of eleven in a row, took 35 caps and eight goals for Trinidad between 1992 and 2005, and played three Gold Cups.
