When the shootout started in Yaoundé on 6 February 2022, he stepped up second behind Koulibaly and scored, and three penalties later Mané finished Egypt off to give Senegal a first Cup of Nations. That trophy heads a list holding two Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint-Germain, two Coupes de France, a Champions League final in 2020, and all four of Senegal's matches at the 2022 World Cup.
