On 23 January 2024 the Jerusalem-born forward scored in the 3-0 defeat of Hong Kong, the first win Palestine had ever managed at an Asian Cup. That result carried them into their first knockout round; he later saved a point against Kuwait with a 93rd-minute equaliser in 2026 World Cup qualifying, and took the Kuwait Crown Prince Cup and its Golden Boot with Al-Arabi in 2025-26.
