A centre-back out of Gaza City, Saleh spent half of 2022 on loan at Eastern Company in Cairo and scored nine goals there, a striker's return from a defender. He won the Palestine Cup with Ahli Al-Khaleel in 2016-17 and the Qatar Stars Cup with Al Rayyan in 2025-26, and has 35 caps since 2016, taking in the 2019 and 2023 Asian Cups and the 2022 Asian Games.
