On 14 June 2022 he scored all three in Montenegro's 3-0 win over Romania in the Nations League, the only hat-trick of his international career. Sixteen goals in sixty-five Montenegro caps sit alongside the 2011-12 league title with Budućnost, the 2017 Moldovan championship with Sheriff Tiraspol, and a career in Korea that brought the 2024 K League 1 golden boot, the 2025 K League 2 title and golden boot, and a hundredth Incheon goal on 25 May 2025.
