Austin scored from a free kick on 7 September 2012 as Jamaica beat the United States 2-1, their first win in 19 meetings with them. Three Caribbean Cups, in 2008, 2010 and 2014, with the tournament MVP award in the last two; a Gold Cup final in 2015, the year he also captained Jamaica at the Copa América; two Jamaica Premier League titles at Portmore United and VG's Norwegian player of the year award in 2011.
