Dezső Novák

Known for two Olympic golds and a bronze is more international silverware than any other Hungarian in the post-Golden-Team era, and criterion one is explicit that Olympic gold counts where it mattered, which it did for Hungary in the 1960s. Bene and Mészöly from the same gold-medal sides are in the squad. Biggest achievements: Olympic gold with Hungary in 1964 and 1968 and bronze in 1960, the most decorated footballer in Olympic history; named in the Team of the Tournament at Euro 1964; long career at Ferencváros.
