A 25-yard strike in the twentieth minute of the north London derby on 1 October 2022 was his first goal from outside the box in 65 Arsenal attempts, and the club voted it their goal of the season. He won the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup with Atlético in 2018, reached the 2016 Champions League final, and was Ghana's player of the year in 2017 and 2018, before Arsenal met his 50 million euro buyout clause in 2020.
