On 5 October 2024 he scored at 15, 54 and 86 minutes in Saint-Étienne's 3-1 win over Auxerre, the first hat-trick any Georgian had scored in Ligue 1. He played every match of Georgia's first major tournament at Euro 2024 and was given the Order of Honour that July, then took Ligue 1 Player of the Month and Goal of the Month for October 2024 and the UNFP Ligue 2 Player of the Season award in 2025-26.
