Rome's Stadio Olimpico staged the only championship play-off in Serie A history on 7 June 1964, and Guld-Harald settled it, converting Pascutti's pass for Bologna's second goal in a 2-0 win over Inter. He took the scudetto that day as the league's leading scorer with 21 goals, having shared the same honour a year earlier, and had already won Olympic silver in 1960 as Rome's top marksman.
