Jamie Redknapp mishit a cross at Wembley on 6 September 1995 and Higuita dived forward to flick both heels over his head and clear it, the scorpion kick that outlived a goalless friendly nobody else remembers. He won Colombia's first Copa Libertadores in 1989 with Atlético Nacional, scoring his own penalty in the shootout that beat Olimpia, added the Copa Interamericana that year, took two Colombian league titles, and scored 41 career goals from penalties and free kicks.
