At the Stadium of Light on 11 April 2015 he scored three times in eleven minutes as Crystal Palace beat Sunderland 4-1, the first Palace player ever to take a Premier League hat-trick. Bolasie went to Everton for around £25 million the following year, finished third with DR Congo at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and made the team of that tournament, and won the Championship play-off final in 2013.
